Charged: Sustainably Managing End-of-Life Batteries

EV companies face the challenge of managing end-of-life batteries sustainably while recycling firms encounter high costs for collection and recycling. 

Thanks to IPI, Charged and KGS Battery successfully launched a pilot earlier this year to recover precious metals and materials from end-of-life batteries. This led to further collaborations, culminating in a recent MOU aimed at creating a circular economy for batteries. 

Charged is committed to working with industry partners to be one of the few EV manufacturers to have a comprehensive battery disposal strategy.
